Kagiso Media combines an enviable empowerment pedigree with a strong position in radio broadcasting, a sector positioned for dynamic change. Sweeping new regulations are expected to permit Kagiso Media to increase the number of radio stations it controls from two (East Coast and Jacaranda) to as many as eight within two years. With R74m in cash on hand and cash flow of around R80m/year, Kagiso Media has the muscle to support its ambitions. It should be able to sustain a record of average EPS growth of 24,1%/year over five years and 54,7% return on equity in 2003.
